Environment Policy On April 25 2012, under the testimony of administrative directors, department chair, and student council representative, President Wu Dong-xing signed Talloires Declaration to express Da-yeh’s determination to implement environmental protection and sustainable development.

President Wu Dong-xing suggests, presidents in European and American colleges has realized higher education’s responsibility for society since 1990. Talloires Declaration emphasizes the importance and duty a college has to the environment sustainable operation. The green thinking in Talloires Declaration corresponds to Da-yeh’s principles of the integration of green energy in class and those of living and prospering together with the natural environment.

Last year, Da-yeh earned the first place of world green universities in Asia. All the faculties and students have been encouraged. From then on, Da-yeh has continued promoting environmental protection related work, establishing a green campus of sustainable operation.
